That's why I love Legends so much, it's so ridiculous and silly, I can't help but love it.
I definitely think the Flash started suffering in Season 3. At the start of Season 4 it's like the writers forgot how Killer Frost/Caitlin ended the previous season. Oddly enough though, I find Season 5 to be a huge improvement. I find the characters all so likeable this season (even Ralph and I hated Ralph in Season 4). I don't know if they brought in new writers or what but it feels like they actually care about the show again.
I agree about Supergirl rising in Season 3. I liked the first season (but still preferred the Flash and Legends) but I thought it stumbled a bit with Season 2. Season 3 was good though and I like Season 4 even better.
SHHHHHHHHHHHHH. No more about season 5!! (Or season 4 of Supergirl!
But that IS good to hear. I can't wait until they're on Netflix. If it's in May, that'll be right around the time of the end of my semester and HOPEFULLY graduation and I will celebrate with a DC TV binge.
Like, first there was Alex coming out and her relationship with Maggie (MAGGIE WASN'T RIGHT FOR YOU, ALEX, YOU'LL FIND SOMEONE BETTER.) Then there was James as Guardian and UGH in that one episode when the cop had a choice between the white perpetrators and the black man... it was done so subtly and so well it actually took me a couple of scenes to GET what had just happened.
